Why Walcott is Arsenal's most important player this season.

Theo Walcott is promising, talented, mercurial, lightning, lethal finisher and woefully inconsistent. But if Arsenal, were to mount up a challenge to dust up the cabinets after 8 years of trophy drought, then we need Theo Walcott to come of age and provide the performances that he was destined to when he joined Arsenal at the age of 16. I love Walcott, there is no doubt about it and he frustrates me the most than any other player, because I know that he is much more capable than a certain monkey faced ex-spuds from Wales. But this season Walcott has to put aside his inconsistencies behind to help the team. He was never blessed with such talent behind him in midfield that he has now. The support from this midfield would help to shape him as a world class forward. He is a pretty decent forward and there is no denying that but he is short of world class, This could be due to certain chinks in his armour that he has to repair.

He has to learn to be more firm in his decision making. Walcott, have been always accused of choosing the wrong option. He crosses the ball when he needs to shoot and he shoots when he needs to cross.  But year by year he has improved on his decision making and his finishing. Walcott has had a better shooting accuracy than a certain 86 million overrated youth graduate from the famed Southampton Academy. He still needs to improve his freekicks and corners, but at a relatively young age of 24 he has still time to blossom.  He might just dazzle the world this season, by showing why players like Messi and all rated him as the most dangerous opponent they faced.

Coming to this season we have never had more creativity in our team as this season. In Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey,Rocisky and Wilshere he has players who can provide him sumptuous volleys one after other in a match. Last season, we saw how well he linked up with Cazorla and others to score his career best 21 goals and 14 assists in all competition. This season He has already notched up a goal and an assist. With Ozil and Cazorla creating 180 chances in a normal season, we can expect Walcott to be running on to them with his blistering pace and finish them off or lay it off for others to finish.
This season again the change in style of play might help Walcott more than ever to stamp his authority in big games. As gradually Arsenal have been revolutionized their style of play from possession based to quick and direct counterattacking based, it won’t be surprising to see Walcott use his pace and finishing abitlity to score a plethora of goals and assists. Even if, Arsenal decide to play possession based  football the main outlet of the team would still be the Walcott on the right flank. He would be provided with ample through balls and lay offs to score and assists. After being relieved of the Freekick and Corner taking responsibility we might see him play wit a bit more freedom.

He is currently injured with an abdominal problem and is due to return back after next international week. He would have had ample rest and would be raring to go as Arsenal would be bracing themselves to face tougher opponenets in United and Liverpool. If he can just keep his cool and start to choose the right options in the game he might iron out the damning inconsistencies that frustrates even his most ardent supporters. I, hope he achieves his destiny and becomes the most dangerous forward people have seen in the Premier League.

Come on you Gunners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
