Today, we go to the Liberty Stadium to face a wounded Swansea
City team which lost in the midweek to Birmingham in the Capital One Cup. The
Swans will be fired up to get a result against the gunners to get over their
mid-week disappointment. We would be
going there without Theo, so the speed would most probably be missing in
Arsenal’s game. Aaron Ramsey is also an
injury doubt. Wenger reportedly said that Ramsey might be available for the
match. I am keeping my fingers crossed as he is in kind of a beast mode and
with Wilshere already deployed wide we might not have the enough personnel to
fill his place. He brings a dynamic style of play to the arsenal side. We needed
a midfielder like him who can tackle, intercept, play key passes and score as
well.
Arsenal would have to stop Michu from thriving either upfront
or behind Bony. We should try o play narrow as we have no legitimate wide
options. If Gnabry or Miyachi play in the match, I would like them to offer
more width as, I don’t see Wilshere doing that as he would cut inside and
interchange passes with Ozil and Giroud.
Flamini should keep his place ahead of Arteta. No matter how much I love
Arteta, I don’t think Flamin has done anything to lsoe his place in the
starting XI. If Wenger decides to bench Flamini it might send the wrong message
to the team. Arteta has to prove himself. He might even get a start against
Napoli but as of now I see Flamini and Ramsey as our double Pivot operating
infront of our back four. Mertesacker
and Kos should resume their Partnership flanked on the sides by Gibbs and
Sagna.
We should be hogging the possession as I guess today we lack
the speed and guile to launch quick counterattacks. We should try to score an
early goal and then sitback and try to defend as an unit and see if our counter
attacks could get us any goals. I would see a tight first half but see us
winning the match 2-0. Goals from Giroud and Ramsey would do it. Ozil and Wilshere
providing with the assists.
Those are my prediction and just let keep our fingers crossed
for this tricky away match.
Lets make it 12 Away wins in a row ….Come On You Gunners!!!!!
